David Taylor | Presenter
Born and raised in Guatemala City, W. David O. Taylor is Assistant Professor of Theology and Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary as well as the director of Brehm Texas, an initiative in worship, theology and the arts.
He completed studies at the University of Texas, Georgetown University, the University of Würzburg, and Regent College in Canada. He earned his Th.D. at Duke Divinity School.
He's the author of the book, The Theater of God’s Glory: Calvin, Creation and the Liturgical Arts. He has written articles for The Washington Post, The Christian Scholars Review, Theology Today, Calvin Theological Journal, Books & Culture, Christianity Today, Q, Comment Magazine, The Living Church, In Touch Ministries and The Christian Vision Project. He is currently writing a new book, Worship and the Arts: Singular Powers and the Formation of a Human Life.
In 2016 he produced a short film on the psalms with Bono and Eugene Peterson. Watch it HERE. His artistic interests include playwriting, modern dance, and science fiction literature. He lives in Houston with his wife Phaedra, a visual artist, gardener and cook, and his daughter Blythe and son Sebastian.
