What is Voxcon?
VoxCon is a 3-day event aimed at helping you find and focus your creative voice--becoming a communicator that can’t be ignored--who breaks through distractions and stirs others to action by connecting you to world-class teachers and essential skills.
As a leader, artist, or entrepreneur you're trying to be a voice people listen to intently, recognize instantly, and return to regularly.
In order to do that, you need to communicate in such a way that you demand attention and inspire to action. The problem is that there's a huge crowd of competing voices--voices that fill you with doubt about your abilities and cause you to question the importance of your message.
But we believe everyone deserves a shot to break through and be heard.
We know the frustration of having something to say and wondering if anyone will ever notice and--even if they do--if your message will make a difference.
That’s why we have gathered some of the best creators and communicators in the world, in one spot, to share their insights with you.
So, register for VoxCon today. Stop wondering if you’ll be heard--worrying if you’re inconsequential--and instead be a voice that's recognized, and returned to.
What’s the format?
VoxCon consists of two experiences, working together:
Community Gatherings at the main stage and Breakout Tribes.
At the main stage Community Gatherings, or plenary sessions, you’ll be exposed to some of the world’s best storytellers, writers, and creative minds; women and men who have found their voice, who are creating and leading with undeniable excellence, and who are making a mark, for the better, on this world. Their goal is to inspire and challenge you as you head into the breakouts.
In your Breakout Tribes you’ll walk through a process of reflection, conversation, and imagination where you'll discuss strategies and struggles, dream up ideas for the future, and make plans for implementing the big ideas you’re being exposed to. Your Breakout Tribe will walk through multiple sessions, each led by a different facilitator who will help your Tribe press all that you’re learning deep into the corners of your life.
Plus, in the middle of it all you’ll be able to network with the VoxCon community.
Throughout the event--between main stage presenters--you’ll hear from an array of different artists and leaders, in Micro-Sessions, sharing their talents, telling their stories and inspiring you with their creativity.
What's the "DO Good" element?
VoxCon is more than a gathering of creatives, entrepreneurs and non-profit leaders. It’s also a conference focused on advancing the common good and encouraging each of us to leverage our voices to help foster human flourishing. Toward that end, at VoxCon 2018 we will be partnering with the Foundation for Flint and the Flint Child Health and Development Fund.
For more than 3 years the city of Flint, Michigan has been without clean drinking water. While efforts are underway to resolve this domestic, humanitarian crisis the damage from prolonged exposure to lead contaminated water has been done. The Flint Child Health and Development Fund exists to help meet the long term health and development needs of Flint children exposed to lead.
A portion of every registration to VoxCon, as well as proceeds from our Pre-Vox "Do-Good-Mixer", will be sent to FCHDF and the Foundation for Flint. For more information on the Flint water crisis see THIS. If you’d like to make a donation directly to the Flint Child Health and Development Fund, you can do so HERE.

Is this a Christian event?
While not an overtly faith-based gathering VoxCon is driven by a small collective of Christian leaders.
We are leaders who share a mission of helping people thrive in and love their neighbor through their various vocations, in particular industry and ministry leaders, creatives, and entrepreneurs. We believe that effective communication and the cultivation of creativity, regardless of your religious affiliation, are critical tools for thriving in one's calling and for loving and serving the world — your “neighbor” — with the gifts you possess.
The Voice Conference, VoxCon, is a ministry of Matt Popovits Ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization.
